Dr. Friedman has been practicing all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry including dental implants, TMD treatment, full mouth reconstruction, as well as dental veneers for 35+ years with offices in both San Diego, California and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. 

Dr. Friedman was accepted into Washington University School of Dental medicine a year early. Born and raised in San Diego, he packed his bags and headed East. After graduating head of his class, Dr. Friedman found his way back to San Diego and opened his first family dental practice, Mod Squad Dental. 

Now running two practices, Dr. Friedman and his team of outstanding dental professionals incorporate state of the art dental technology while offering above the bar customer service to each and every patient. 

Dr. Friedman and his wife, Jessica, realized early in their relationship that his love & expertise for dentistry and her attention to detail made for a great team. Together they developed the DS Experience. This experience allows them to develop a detailed, personalized treatment plan that combines Dr. Friedman's 35+ years of advanced dental knowledge and Jessica's 20+ years artistic smile-design expertise. This dynamo duo and their experienced dental team create a dental spa environment like no other, offering complimentary sleep dentistry leading each patient to a healthy and beautiful smile. Dr. Friedman's passion is restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers, dental implants, complete smile transformations, Invisalign as a preferred provider, and traditional braces, as well as quality preventative care. Raised in Idaho, Cayli has been in dentistry for 5 years. With her love for anything medical, Cayli is the perfect team member to lead our Apnea & TMJ program. Along with Dr. Friedman's extensive knowledge in neuromuscular dentistry & apnea, the two are helping patients of Coeur d' Alene & surrounding communities tackle complex TMD & sleep apnea conditions.

When not in the practice, Cayli stays busy by coaching competitive volleyball & anything outdoors.

With 14 years of experience under her belt (so yes, she knows her way around a scaler), Ashley graduated from Colorado Northwestern Community College & has been keeping smiles in top shape ever since. When she’s not making teeth sparkle, you’ll find her traveling somewhere fun, hitting the pavement for a run, flowing through yoga, or soaking up time with family & friends.

Basically… she’s equal parts skilled, energetic, & the kind of person you actually look forward to seeing at your dental visit. 

As Director of Patient Services, we are honored to have Nina on our team. Nina will be serving as your liaison for all things patient care and scheduling. With her strong medical background, she brings both knowledge and compassion to our team.
